The Black Hawk is a versatile helicopter, renowned for its reliability and performance in challenging conditions, used for transport and rescue as well as for civilian and emergency missions.

Tactical Exercise IGAv and IGPR – SIAS with a Black Hawk Helicopter

At BIAS 2025, the audience will have the chance to witness a spectacular intervention exercise carried out by the fighters of the Special Actions and Intervention Service (SIAS) of the Romanian Police.

A Black Hawk helicopter, belonging to the General Inspectorate of Aviation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will fly over the demonstration area, performing specific tactical manoeuvres. From the air, SIAS fighters will rappel down, simulating a rapid intervention to neutralize a threat and rescue people in danger.

The exercise combines the precision of the aircrew with the training and professionalism of the SIAS special teams, offering the audience a realistic view of how intervention missions are conducted in critical situations.

This demonstration aims to highlight the cooperation between the air forces and SIAS fighters, as well as the high level of training and technical equipment of the intervention units.
